It looks like WWE is indeed going forward with the inter-brand war theme at WWE Survivor Series this year, as PWInsider.com is reporting promotional material for the PPV is hyping Raw vs Smackdown, with “bragging rights” on the line, for the event.

As seen on WWE Smackdown this week, WWE Champion Jinder Mahal issued a challenge to WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar for Survivor Series, and Lesnar is expected to respond on Raw Monday night. That match should headline the brand warfare themed PPV.

PWInsider is also reporting that this year’s WWE Tribute to the Troops special will air on the USA Network on Thursday, December 14th.

WWE will film the special on Tuesday, December 5th, as part of the Smackdown Live taping in San Diego, CA at the Valley View Casino Center.
