Small little children are getting trapped in the vicious circle of drugs in Delhi. According to reports, more than 90 per cent of street kids are addicted to drugs. The Ministry Of Social Justice and Empowerment stated that as many as 46,410 cases of substance abuse by these children have been reported.

Out of these cases, most are addicted to tobacco (21,770) followed by alchohol (9,450), inhalants (7,910) and cannabis (5,600). The other substances children are getting addicted of include heroin (840), pharmaceutical opiods (210), sedatives (210) and opium (420). The data was shared in Loksabha by minister of state for Social Justice and Empowerment Vijay Sampla.
