Exposing the appalling state of unemployment in Uttar Pradesh, 81,700 graduates applied for a post which only had 62 vacancies. Around 50,000 graduates, 28,000 postgraduates and 3,700 Ph.D. holders have applied for the vacant posts in the telecom department of Uttar Pradesh police.
The minimum eligibility required for the job posting was Class 5th and the starting salary of the job was Rs 20,000.
