Rey Mysterio can still go in the ring as evidenced by his performance in the main event of last night’s All In event. Several reports have noted that Mysterio does not have a lot of independent wrestling commitments lined up for himself at the moment, perhaps indicating that he could be on his way back to WWE very soon. WWE has been trying to sign Mysterio to a contract ever since his guest appearance in the Royal Rumble earlier this year. During an interview with on Ringside with Jim Ross at Starrcast earlier this weekend, Mysterio said that the two sides are still negotiating but the holdup seems to be on WWE’s end at the moment. It definitely seems likely that Rey will be back in WWE in just a matter of time. “I’m waiting for them [WWE] to say, ‘now,’ and ‘the time is right.’ Then let’s go.” Mysterio said.

Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks’ ambitious All In wrestling event paid off last night both financially and critically. The Bullet Club members proved last night that there is definitely some fantastic talent out there from all over the world, which is why several fans have already started clamoring for a second All In event. After the show concluded last night, The Elite addressed the crowd and asked if they would be interested in seeing the event come back, which quickly prompted loud “All In 2” chants from the 10,000 fans in Chicago. Cody Rhodes then teased the event’s return by saying “I know when you make a bet, sometime you go double or nothing.” As of right now, there has not been any official announcement for another All In event, but after last night’s successful show, it almost seems inevitable that the boys will eventually go All In again.

Several fans predicted that Big Cass would become a major star someday in WWE, which is why it was so surprising to learn that WWE decided to release him earlier this year. Cass reportedly had issues with management and gained backstage heat in the weeks leading up to his departure. During an interview on Booker T’s Heated Conversations podcast, Cass broke his silence on his WWE departure and admitted that he “made a lot of mistakes” during his time with the company. He also says that he would have fired himself if he were in Vince McMahon’s position. Cass said that he will be wrestling again on the independent circuit soon and hopes to be welcomed back into WWE someday.
