TMZ recently caught up with Triple H and Ronda Rousey after they had just had a meeting over dinner. It seems interesting given all of the rumors that have been circulating about Ronda possibly joining WWE in time for WrestleMania this year. The latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported that the meeting was actually set up by WWE to hype up Rousey’s signing with the company. The Observer mentions that this occasionally happens between WWE and TMZ, and further noted that the meeting would not have taken place in a public restaurant in Los Angeles if the company truly intended on keeping Rousey’s meetings with WWE a secret.
The Mixed Match Challenge is just days away from premiering on Facebook Watch. All of the teams, brackets, and charities for the show have been announced. With all of the pieces in place, the show should be good to go. But what about team names? It looks like one of the teams participating in the tournament have got that covered. Bobby Roode and Charlotte Flair ooze class and royalty whenever they come down to the ring together, especially when they wear their signature robes. The two have officially announced that they will be known as the “Robe Warriors.” The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has even claimed that the company teamed them up just so they could use that name.
