Although she has been present on television, the fact that Becky Lynch has yet to compete inside the ring since suffering a concussion and broken nose from the stiff Nia Jax punch on RAW last month has led to speculation about her status for the WWE TLC 2018 pay-per-view in under two weeks.
Lynch is scheduled to defend her SmackDown Live Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair and Asuka in a TLC match at the PPV on December 16th. The Wrestling Observer reported this week that while she has been cleared to return from the concussion, she has not been cleared from her nasal fracture yet. Due to this, there are conflicting reports as to whether or not she will be able to compete as advertised.
“The Man” took to social media on Friday to address these rumors. Check out her comments below.
I’m seeing reports that I “might not be cleared” for TLC. Let me say this as clearly as I can: nothing will keep me from fighting on Dec 16th. I’ve got heads to slap and a title to keep. The Man will come around. pic.twitter.com/bAPFtisIGo
