— In a rare event, WWE held only one house show on Sunday, but it was a big one in Boston, MA that featured both Raw and Smackdown superstars in a joint card. As noted, the company pulled the TLC PPV from Boston (moving it to a different location in December) and instead held a star-studded house show in its place. According to PWInsider, the company also sent a small production crew to the event in order to tape it for future testing purposes on the WWE Network. The company continues to give serious consideration to launching a tiered network in the future, and one of the ‘perks’ of paying more would be able to see some of the bigger house shows on the network. They will be doing the same sort of testing for Starrcade next month in Cincinnati by taping it.
— Although he was scheduled for house shows this weekend, Roman Reigns missed all three shows including the above SuperShow in Boston. There is no word on why he wasn’t able to wrestle or appear at these events, but it doesn’t appear as if was anything the company could forecast beforehand as he was being advertised for all the shows right up until they happened.
