— The @WrestleVotes Twitter account seems to be suggesting that Daniel Bryan will be re-signing a contract with WWE when his current deal expires later this year. The report states that WWE has made Bryan the focal point of the WWE 2K19 “Showcase” mode and they made that decision knowing full well what Bryan’s long term intentions are as releasing the game in that manner with Bryan not on the roster would not look good at all.
— Chris Jericho is unlikely to appear at tonight’s NJPW G1 Special in San Jose, California according to Dave Meltzer. Jericho has already gone on record to state that he won’t be wrestling for New Japan on any North American cards as he only wants to do that for WWE. However, it should be noted that Jericho loves to surprise fans so it can’t be counted out completely.
— According to WWE, Dr. Shelby will once again be appearing on Raw this coming Monday as the counseling session with Bayley and Sasha Banks continues. As we reported yesterday, WWE has filed to trademark the name “Dr. Shelby”, giving the company flexibility to feature and market that character.
