WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross recently updated the Q&A section of his official website, JRsBarBQ.com, fielding questions from fans on a wide-variety of topics.
Featured below are JR’s responses to fans questions on topics including some unique aspects of the upcoming WWE Draft / Brand Extension that many might be overlooking, thoughts on the current WWE locker room leader and some personal television and film opportunities he may have for himself on the horizon.
Below are some of the highlights from JR’s latest Q&A update.
On some TV and film work he has lined up:
“I am currently working on a couple of reality TV projects and two different movie projects that people have approached me on where I would do some consulting, producing and likely act in a manageable role.”
On if he ever tried signing The Great Muta in WWE:
“Not really as Muta had a great gig in Japan plus he was having knee issues as well.”
On if all of the female Superstars will end up on the same brand in WWE Draft:
“The talent split is going to be interesting. I don’t know if all the women will be on one brand, of which I don’t encourage or expect, or not. Lots of right ways to handle this piece of business that many fans will find fault with no matter the disposition of the roster compilation.”
On a fan who thinks WWE should quit fighting it and let Dean Ambrose be the “locker room leader” instead of Roman Reigns:
“It’s not a matter of “letting” anyone become a locker room leader, first of all, and, secondly, no team can ever have enough leaders. Fans don’t need to “suffer” over any TV program as long as they can find their TV remote.”
On the upcoming brand split benefitting WWE Superstars in terms of potentially easing up their travel schedule:
“I’m of the mindset that with strategic time off provided all talents that the 4 days on and 3 days off isn’t a bad schedule. I do think that talents need some down time planed for their schedules. Travel/schedules today are arguably the best that it’s ever been.”
