WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross spoke to WWE.com after returning to the announcer’s booth at Monday’s RAW.
JR said he wishes he could have returned under different circumstances, but it was great to be back and he enjoyed working with Michael Cole and JBL.
He also said that it’s a miracle Jerry Lawler is alive and if he had suffered the heart attack anywhere else, he would not have made it. JR gave thanks to WWE and Dr. Sampson for their handling of the situation.
Michael Cole tweeted this about JR and JBL calling RAW with him:
“Thank you @JRsBBQ it was a blast. @JCLayfield all kidding aside good luck on the climb in Africa!”
As previously reported, JBL also tweeted how it was great to finally do commentary with Jim Ross.
