Cody Rhodes tweeted that the final attendance for tonight’s AEW Dynamite premiere at the Capital One Arena in Washington D.C. was 14,129.
Assuming that number is accurate, it was the biggest show for All Elite Wrestling so far, beating the estimated 11,000 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas for Double or Nothing. The original round of tickets for the show sold out in just four hours on August 2, with more tickets released recently after the set was finalized.
