Tonight, NXT will be holding a final TV taping before NXT Takeover New Orleans at Full Sail University. The tapings will begin at around 7pm EST and ProWrestling.com will be providing live spoiler coverage so be sure to join us later this evening.

WWE.com has published the following, hyping the start of the Dusty Classic tonight:

The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic is back, and the first round starts Wednesday with a huge matchup pitting the red-hot TM61 against the dominant Authors of Pain.

These duos know each other well, having clashed in the finals of the last Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic in 2016. That battle featured AOP’s legendary manager, Paul Ellering, hanging above the ring in a Shark Cage as Akam & Rezar ultimately prevailed to take home the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Cup at TakeOver: Toronto.

This time around, Shane Thorne & Nick Miller are fresh off their return to the ring following Thorne’s injury, and the Australian duo have looked stronger than ever. Already one of the world’s most renowned tag teams, TM61 is primed for their first-round showdown with the monstrous former NXT Tag Team Champions.

Will TM61 continue their rise to the top of NXT’s Tag Team division with a statement-making victory over AOP in the first round of the Dusty Classic? Or will the Authors of Pain begin to pave their next path of destruction en route to a potential second Dusty Classic Cup victory?
