— According to Dave Meltzer on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE may go ahead and Samoa Joe and Roman Reigns next week on Raw in Los Angeles as part of Reigns’ open challenge. If not, it should happen a week or two later as that is the direction that WWE is going and the next Raw PPV is not until February.

— Also noted on the show is that the plan is still for Roman Reigns to challenge Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal title at WrestleMania 34 even though Reigns has won the Intercontinental champion. The belief is that Reigns will drop the title sometime before his match with Brock.
