In case you missed it, Bobby Lashley scored a major victory this Sunday at WWE Extreme Rules, pinning the “Big Dog” himself Roman Reigns in singles competition. With his biggest obstacle seemingly out of the way, the self-proclaimed Destroyer is setting his eyes on a much bigger prize – the WWE Universal Championship, and its current holder, Brock Lesnar.

Lashley joined the Extreme Rules post-show panel after the event had gone off the air, and had the following to say about a potential collision with the “Beast Incarnate”, and why he’s not worried about Roman Reigns:

“Brock has the title. I don’t know where Brock is, but when Brock’s ready to come back and fight somebody for that title, I’m the man. Of course he said before he didn’t want to come back because Roman, Roman, Roman. Now there’s a new big dog, and that’s me. So if he wants to come back and defend that title, he has somebody else – somebody that beat the person that he defended that title against last time. If Brock is ready to come and defend that title, I am here.”

As noted, Raw General Manager Kurt Angle has issued a mandate that Lesnar must either show his face on Monday’s show or come to immediate terms about when, where, and who he will defend the Universal title against next.

“I think it’s beautiful. We had to figure out some what to get him back. I’m pretty sure Brock is gonna show up. I’m pretty sure Brock watched what was going on tonight. And right now, Brock has no excuses for not showing up.”

Finally, when asked whether Lashley just wanted to become world champion again, or if things were personal between him and Brock Lesnar:

“Both. I want to beat Brock for that title. It’s two things. Of course I want that title, and of course I want that match. It’s Brock. Everyone wants those big matches. I could post pictures of my kids online, and people will say, ‘We want you to fight Brock!” That’s been happening for the last 12 years, so of course I want that match. And if Roman beats Brock for that title before I have a chance to get to him, then I still want that match – and then I want the title.”
