Nominees for Ursula von der Leyen’s European Commission from the three countries whose first choices were rejected by the European Parliament— France, Hungary and Romania — will appear before MEPs on Thursday.
The timetable is:
8-11 a.m. — Olivér Várhelyi, neighborhood and enlargement policy (AFET).
1-4 p.m. — Thierry Breton, internal market (ITRE, IMCO); Adina-Ioana Vălean, transport (TRAN).
