World Series of Fighting officially announced that Tyrone Spong is out of his 12/18 co-main event fight with Jake Heun due to an injury. Heun now will face Clinton Williams on the prelims instead. Talk about a drop in stature.
From this week’s TUF conference call, Chad Mendes said that his fight with Conor McGregor was for a “fake belt” and that the winner between he and Frankie Edgar next Friday will be in line for a shot at the real title. Edgar concurs.
The hits keep on coming for Reebok who made two mistakes in two days. On Tuesday, the Internet learned of a t-shirt with the name Anderson Aldo that has since been pulled. On Wednesday, they told the world the aforementioned McGregor has beaten Jose Aldo at UFC 194 with another shirt. No need to watch, folks.
