WWE has made a couple of announcements for the first post-Superstar Shake-up episode of SmackDown.
WWE Champion Kofi Kingston will face Shinsuke Nakamura in a non-title match on Tuesday’s show. Xavier Woods and Kevin Owens will be in Kingston’s corner for the match.
Kingston, Woods & Owens defeated Rusev, Nakamura & Cesaro in a six-man tag match on this week’s SmackDown, with Owens being an honorary member of The New Day while Big E is out of action with a torn meniscus.
A face-to-face segment with Raw & SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair has also been announced for Tuesday’s SmackDown. It will be the first time they’ve shared the ring together since Lynch defeated Ronda Rousey and Charlotte in the main event of WrestleMania 35.
Tuesday’s SmackDown is taking place at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska. WWE is also teasing a storyline of whether or not Roman Reigns will be fired after Superman punching Vince McMahon.
