It is good news for those who use DISH or Sling, as today FOX has agreed a deal to bring their shows back to the platforms, including SmackDown.

After the first episode of Friday Night SmackDown as not shown on DISH or Sling due to a dispute between them, they have now patched things up in order to bring the show to more people.

A social media campaign to get DISH to bring FOX back has clearly worked as a new carriage deal that includes FS1 and FS2 as well, meaning WWE Backstage will also be available.

“We are pleased to announce that we have reached an agreement with Dish and Sling, and they are immediately restoring their subscribers’ access to the Fox networks and television stations,” a spokesman for Fox Corporation said in a statement. “We are grateful to our viewers for their patience during this disruption.”

DISH then provided a statement of their own:

“We appreciate our customers’ patience as we worked to reach a long-term agreement that restores the Fox networks and local broadcast stations.”
