It is widely accepted that the anger of the farmers in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan was the key factor that pulled down the governments of Shivraj Singh Chauhan and Vasundhara Raje.
Both states have been in the news for the plight of the farmers, who had resorted to extreme measures of protests.
While both the states voted for change, it would be interesting to see what the new batch of lawmakers can do.
