It was recently reported that WWE was in talks to bring the NXT brand to cable television, with conversations happening with both FOX and the USA Network.
The most recent word is that a two-hour live show is being discussed for Wednesday night in the 8-10 p.m. ET timeslot, which would go head-to-head with All Elite Wrestling on TNT.

The most likely home as it stands is the USA Network, which is of course the long-time home of Monday Night Raw and Smackdown Live, until the blue brand moves to FOX later this fall.
According to a new report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, there are those in WWE behind-the-scenes that believe it is a “done deal”, while others have apparently shot down that anything is finalized. Additionally, the report indicates that there were members of NXT staff who were told to expect a longer show and major changes coming to the brand soon.
The WrestleVotes Twitter account, which has had a successful track record in reporting similar backstage WWE stories, claims that a source told him the announcement is coming as soon as this upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw.
