The Miz and Maryse are no longer an act on WWE television due to the latter announcing that she is pregnant. Maryse and The Miz confirmed the news as being legitimate shortly afterwards, and the two have been preparing for the birth of their first child. It has now been revealed through the couple’s Instagram story that they will be having a baby girl. There is no word on when the baby is due, but she should be born sometime next year. In the meantime, it is being reported by some outlets that Maryse may still make a few appearances onscreen for WWE, but Miz will continue to work with Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel every week going forward.

The announcement that the couple is having a child garnered so much attention that WWE may be considering televising the weeks leading up to the pregnancy. According to a new report from PWInsider, WWE wants to continue working with Bunim-Murray Productions, the company responsible for producing Total Divas and Total Bellas. One series reportedly being worked on is another reality series that follows the daily lives of Maryse and The Miz. Another concept that is supposedly being discussed is a new competition show that will see aspiring female wrestlers compete for a WWE contract, much like the company’s former Diva Search show.
It was reported this week that former Cruiserweight Champion Neville is now completely gone from WWE. According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Neville is quite “happy” that he no longer works for WWE. Former WWE Superstar Sean Waltman recently claimed that Neville did not seem happy with his role in the company when he last spoke with him, so Neville probably is thrilled to be going back out on the independent circuit. Meltzer also said that there are currently a ton of independent wrestlers who still want to work for WWE, but a ton of WWE Superstars are said to be jealous of how much fun independent talent seem to be having. On the subject of multiple wrestlers walking out of WWE, Melzter simply stated “It’s not gonna happen.”
