As we all know by now, due to Dolph Ziggler seemingly relinquishing the United States Title and walking out of SmackDown Live a couple of weeks ago, SmackDown Live GM Daniel Bryan announced that there will be a United States Title Tournament. There are a total of 8 competitors and we are currently wrapping up the First Round of action. One of those competitors is Mojo Rawley and he will be facing his former Tag Team partner Zach Ryder as part of the first round.
Mojo Rawley sent a tweet on his United States Title Tournament Match with Zack Ryder, which will likely be taking place next week on SmackDown Live. It was previously reported that the other first round match is Xavier Woods vs. Aiden English in which we saw Xavier Woods pick up the victory last night on SmackDown Live. The winner of the match between Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder will face Bobby Roode while Xavier Woods will face Jinder Mahal. The finals will take place at the Royal Rumble.
