WWE.com has announced that WWE Superstar Sheamus will be out 4-6 months as a result of a shoulder injury.

Sheamus underwent an MRI this week that revealed he has a torn labrum in his left shoulder. The injury took place during his recent Money in the Bank match on pay-per-view – and was then aggravated when he continued to work through the injury.

The article states that Sheamus noticed the shoulder getting worse during WWE’s recent tour of South Africa.

The former WWE & World Heavyweight champion will undergo arthroscopic surgery next week and is expected to be out four to six months. He noted that he’ll require more than one surgery while recovering.
