Former WWE Champion AJ Styles appeared on Tuesday night’s edition of Talking Smack live each and every week on the WWE Network.
Styles was asked if he feels any pressure carrying the blue brand on his back in his feud against the man who came to the brand from RAW, Kevin Owens. Styles then says he welcomes the pressure and is happy and willing to carry that pressure. He also says that he does better with that pressure and pressure makes diamonds.
Styles then says that he believes RAW steals the stars that SmackDown Live creates, and also says that Jinder Mahal came from RAW to SmackDown Live to prove himself in the land of opportunity.
Styles also said that Smackdown Live Makes Them, While Raw Takes Them. And that we make superstars over here, that is what we do. You try to clean us out, we’re going to build somebody up and put them on the spot.
Styles concludes by saying: Guess what? If you want a Superstar, this is where it’s made.
AJ Styles is scheduled to face Kevin Owens for the WWE United States Championship at WWE Backlash, which is scheduled to be live from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois on Sunday, May 21st.
