Everybody’s favorite seven-foot-tall giant The Big Show went to Twitter to give an update on his recovery after having some major hip surgery done around a month ago. When last we saw the Big Show on WWE TV, he lost a cage match against Braun Strowman when the big guy was tossed through the cage wall. Right after that match he went to the hospital and had some hip surgery to fix some lingering issues.
Here is the Twitter update complete with video:
27 days out.
Another recovery milestone.
Thanks for the support everyone!#OneDayAtATime #SayHelloFernando pic.twitter.com/uadozQ9OrL

No timetable has been released or reported about when The Big Show will return to full-time competition, however, the Royal Rumble in January has always been a good place for him to make a surprise appearance and toss some bodies over the top rope. But nothing has been reported or leaked as of yet so we will sit tight and await the big nasty giant’s full-time return.
The Big Show has been wrestling since October of 1995 when he was first recruited by WCW to be an opponent for then WCW Champion Hulk Hogan. He was originally given the gimmick of being Andre The Giant’s son, but that ended when Andre’s family threatened legal action. His first match on Television was a win by Disqualification over Hogan at Halloween Havoc 1995 when Hogan’s then manager Jimmy Hart turned on him. In a part of interesting booking by the WCW company, The Giant was awarded their World Title because of that “win” only for the belt to be held up later. Since that time he has won the WWE, WCW, ECW world titles and most other belts the WWE had to offer him over the years.
