Last night at The Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Brock Lesnar faced The Miz in a “Champion vs Champion” match.
Prior to the match, Miz cut a scathing in-ring promo on The Beast, and below is an excerpt of what The IC Champ had to say, via The Scoop Slam:
“Well, look at what Minneapolis is gonna have, two of us standing here in the ring, two champions, two of the toughest men in all of WWE. But understand only one of us is holding the most prestigious title in all of the WWE, and that is me. I’m the one that makes it to each and every show day in and day out… you are just a paper champion.”
The match between Lesnar and Miz then began, and it saw Lesnar quickly hit Miz with several German Suplexes before The Miztourage got involved. The referee threw the match out before Lesnar hit everyone in the ring, including the referee, with F5’s to end the segment.
