According to our colleagues at Foot Mercato, Tottenham Hotspur have held fee negotiations with Lille for the transfer of Sofiane Boufal.
There is extreme interest from the Premier League, with several lower table sides having also approached Lille in an attempt to wrap up an early deal.
However, Tottenham lead the race in this potential deal, the report claiming that they are understood to have offered Boufal a five year contract already.
The player is understood to favour a move to Tottenham, who will be able to offer Boufal Champions League football next season.
L’Équipe claim that Lille have yet to receive a single, official offer for Boufal, but that Dortmund, Wolfsburg, Inter Milan, Tottenham and Everton have all made enquiries for the player.
Lille want at least 20 million Euros plus bonuses for the player.
