WWE recently confirmed the huge signings of Ricochet, Candice LeRae, and War Machine. Fans have been wondering what plans WWE has for these individuals ever since they were announced as new roster members. More specifically, some have asked whether or not they will join NXT or go straight to the main roster. During a recent media call, Triple H stated that he expects all four of the recent signees to start of in NXT. Triple H elaborated when he said that some new signees benefit by going down to NXT and learning how WWE produces content, rather than come up to the main roster without any knowledge of how to work on television every week.
Rey Mysterio has been the subject of a lot of discussion ever since it was revealed that he is currently a free agent. Some reports have linked him to possibly joining Impact Wrestling soon, but WWE’s recent announcement that 205 Live is receiving a General Manager have led some to assume that Mysterio could fill that role. Per a report from Ewrestlingnews, Mysterio is still very much in talks with Impact Wrestling at the moment. While no deal has been signed yet, and discussions could always fall apart, the belief is that a deal between the two sides is very close to being reached. It may be just a matter of time before Rey Mysterio finally arrives in the Impact Zone.
It wasn’t too long ago that WWE had wrestling fans buzzing over the signings of Ricochet, War Machine, and Candice LeRae. Only a few weeks later, WWE appears to be already set to host another set of tryous at the Performance Center soon. PWInsider has reported that independent wrestlers Nickolaus Barnes and Alexia Nicole will be partaking in the tryouts very soon. Another name set for the tryouts is former collegiate wrestler and Oregon football player David Vieru. These new rounds of WWE tryouts will reportedly be kicking off at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida on February 8th.
