Overnight ratings are in for last night’s SmackDown on FOX, which was the first show for the blue brand following last weekend’s WrestleMania.
The show averaged 2.304 million viewers, down 2.9 percent from last week. Aside from the week where SmackDown aired on FS1 in October, it was the lowest rated SmackDown since the show’s debut on FOX.
Last night’s show averaged 2.372 million viewers in hour one and 2.235 million in hour two.
In the demo ratings, SmackDown averaged a 0.6 in 18-49 and a 0.4 in 18-34. Both were even with last week and also matched the lowest the show has done in those ratings categories.
SmackDown was last among the major networks in viewership, with NBC’s The Blacklist finishing closest with 3.284 million viewers. In 18-49, SmackDown was last among original programming, only beating out repeat episodes of The Blacklist and Blue Bloods.
In the 18-34 demo, SmackDown tied a few other programs for first on the major networks, the only relatively good news for the ratings this week.
