This past week’s edition of Raw saw a triple threat match between Samoa Joe, Braun Strowman, and Roman Reigns take place in the second hour of the show. Meanwhile, the show was actually closed out by a surprising main event featuring Big Cass taking on The Big Show. The Dirty Sheets podcast claims that the reason behind this was because WWE recently learned that the second hour has beaten the third hour in the ratings every single week in 2017 so far. As a result, expect to see some main event matches be relegated to the end of the second hour. This comes right off of news that WWE is looking to cut costs dramatically over the next few weeks.
The Busted Open Radio show recently released a breaking news announcement regarding their show. It was confirmed that the next edition of the show is going to feature inactive WWE Superstar Paige & GFW Champion Alberto El Patron. The couple will be appearing on the show to address the Orlando airport incident that they were involved in recently, as well as “set the record straight” on the domestic violence allegations that have plagued their relationship as of late. Alberto El Patron was recently cleared of all charges in the incident, yet still remains suspended from GFW. Paige is allegedly still waiting to see if she will be charged for the incident instead.
During today’s media conference, GFW’s Karen Jarrett spilled the beans on a whole number of different topics relating to the company. One of them concerned this year’s GFW Hall of Fame inductee. When asked about inductees, Karen stated: “I think this year, it should be no one other than my father in law, to be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year. He started the company with his son, and he deserves to be there, next to Jeff.” The person she is referring to is none other than the father of Jeff Jarrett, Jerry Jarrett. Jerry is one of the most legendary names in the business and he is one of the founders of the original TNA promotion that GFW has encompassed. He could definitely be a contender for this year’s class.
